So, more often than not, I wake up each morning with a headache. I've tried the foam pillows in the past, and they didn't work for me. For the last 10 years I've used a buckwheat husk pillow, which worked pretty good, but still often woke with a headache. After researching pillows on the internet, this pillow caught my interest, so I ordered one to try it out. It was the best purchase of my life. I am amazed how well I sleep and best of all no longer wake with a headache. If you have any neck problems and have trouble finding a comfortable pillow, this is the one for you. It does allow me to turn and sleep on my side while providing appropriate alignment through support. If I needed heat for my neck, it would be ideal. But, my nerve involvement, in the cervical vertebrae area, requires continuous cooling. The memory foam, which was developed for the astronauts with a need to stay warm, creates intolerable heat for me. I much prefer using the Chillow water cooled pillow over a pillow with a built in, small but firm, roll-type cervical support. I love this pillow, but as the included insert warns, you can't judge this pillow after one night. It took 3 nights for me to adapt to its unique shape but now I can't imagine ever using another pillow. Those two-humped contour pillows don't make sense, and some of them are too hard. I will say that my neck has not been stiff since I started using it, and I haven’t woken myself up at night.
